This photo was taken at the Monkey Temple in Kathmandu, one of the most sacred Buddhist pilgrimage sites, having existed for the last 1500 years. In every direction, in every square inch of the temple grounds, one is assaulted with color and the contrast of grit and refined, gilded beauty.
